01Introduction and scope

Quasar Technology (كوازار تكنولوجي للبرمجة) provides software, AI, automation and customer communication products. This policy covers our website, accounts and platform features where we make it available.

A business using Quasar may decide what customer conversations it connects and how its team uses them. Its own privacy notice may also apply. This policy does not replace the notices of those businesses or the platforms they connect.

02Information you provide directly

If you contact us, request a project, ask for support or use an account, you may provide your name, company, email address, phone number, project details, support messages and other information you choose to send.

Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry or the service.

03Account and profile information

Where accounts are enabled, we may process account identifiers, names, business details, roles, preferences, authentication-related records and activity needed to administer access and support a workspace.

The specific fields depend on the account and features configured by the customer.

04Customer communication data

A connected business may use Quasar to receive, organize and respond to customer conversations. Depending on its configuration, we may process message text, participants or platform identifiers, channel, attachments, timestamps, delivery status, assignment, notes, templates, customer profiles and conversation history.

The business is responsible for its communications with its customers, including any notices and permissions it must provide or obtain.

05Meta Platform Data

When a customer connects supported Meta services to Quasar Technology, we may receive and process information made available through authorized Meta APIs, depending on the services connected and permissions granted. This information may include, where applicable, account identifiers, business or Page identifiers, WhatsApp Business account and phone number identifiers, customer or user identifiers, conversation information, messages, message metadata, timestamps, media or attachments, delivery and read information, profile information made available through authorized APIs, and integration or permission metadata.

We process this information only as necessary to provide and support the requested features, which may include sending and receiving communications, operating the unified inbox, conversation management, customer support, routing, automation, AI-assisted functionality, service-related analytics, security, and integration maintenance. Not every integration collects or uses every category of information. Use of information received from Meta APIs is subject to applicable Meta Platform terms and policies. Meta does not endorse Quasar Technology.

06WhatsApp Business Platform data

Quasar Technology's platform is designed to support the official WhatsApp Business Platform. When a business customer connects WhatsApp, Quasar may process messages and related information made available through the authorized integration to deliver and manage conversations. Depending on enabled features, this can include business and sender identifiers, WhatsApp Business account or phone-number identifiers, message content or media, timestamps, status events and template or integration details.

Quasar Technology does not own a business customer's WhatsApp data. Quasar processes information made available through the authorized connection to provide the Services; the business customer remains responsible for its relationships and communications with end users; end users are the people who message that business; and Meta/WhatsApp remain separate platform providers. A business's use of WhatsApp remains subject to WhatsApp and Meta's applicable terms and policies. Naming WhatsApp on our website does not itself mean an integration is active for a particular account.

07Facebook, Messenger and Instagram data

If enabled and authorized, Facebook Pages, Messenger and Instagram integrations may provide identifiers, messages, conversation metadata, profile information exposed by the relevant API, attachments and status information needed for the requested messaging workflow.

Permissions and available fields vary by integration and may change when a customer changes its platform settings or access.

08Other messaging channels

The platform may support other connected channels, such as SMS or TikTok, where available. Similar categories of information may be processed to deliver the feature the business enables. Each channel has its own terms and privacy practices.

09Technical, device and log information

When our website or software is used, we may receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, approximate location inferred from IP, pages or features used, timestamps, error reports, diagnostic events and security logs.

These records help operate, troubleshoot and protect the service. The exact data depends on hosting and product configuration.

10Cookies and similar technologies

The public website does not currently set a Quasar analytics or advertising cookie. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive the technical information needed to serve those files. If we introduce cookies, local storage or similar technologies on the website or platform, we will describe their purpose and any available choices in this policy or a related notice.

Where the Quasar application is available, it may use essential session or authentication storage needed to keep you signed in and administer secure access.

11How information is used

We may use information to deliver requested services; create and manage accounts; connect channels; route and answer conversations; provide support; develop, maintain and troubleshoot features; protect systems and users; and meet applicable legal obligations.

We may also use project enquiries to respond and discuss requested work. We do not claim a purpose that a customer has not enabled or authorized.

12AI processing and automated assistance

Quasar Technology may use artificial intelligence and automated systems to support features such as response suggestions, summarization, classification, routing, contextual assistance, and workflow automation. Depending on the feature being used, relevant information may be processed by systems and service providers that support these functions.

The use of AI-assisted features does not change the customer's responsibility for its communications and use of the Services. Human review or oversight may be available or required depending on the feature and the customer's configuration. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before use where accuracy matters.

13Human review and customer-service workflows

AI assistance does not mean every decision or message is fully automated. Depending on the customer's workflow, its authorized team members may read conversations, review suggestions, edit replies, assign work and take over from automated processes.

Quasar personnel may access information where needed to provide requested support, troubleshoot or protect the service, subject to the access controls and arrangements in place.

14Sharing and service providers

Information may be made available to the business using Quasar and its authorized team, and to connected platforms needed for requested message delivery. We may use service providers to support the operation, security, hosting, communications, analytics, infrastructure, and other functions necessary to provide the Services.

These providers may process information on our behalf only as necessary to perform the services for which they are engaged and subject to applicable contractual, privacy, and security requirements. We may also disclose information if required by applicable law or to protect rights, safety and service integrity.

15Connected third-party platforms

When you or a business connects an external service, that service may process information under its own terms and privacy policy. Disconnecting a channel can stop future access through that connection, but it does not necessarily erase information already held by the external platform or a business's own records.

Review the relevant platform's settings and notices for controls it provides.

16Data retention

Quasar Technology retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing and maintaining the Services, fulfilling customer instructions, protecting the security and integrity of the Services, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and satisfying applicable legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the purpose for which it is processed, customer instructions, security and operational requirements, and applicable legal requirements. When information is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with our applicable processes and legal obligations. Some information may remain in backups or security logs for a limited period after a deletion request, and limited records may be retained where legally or operationally required.

17Data deletion

You may request deletion of information associated with Quasar or a connected integration. We may need to verify your identity or authority and coordinate with the business that controls the conversation or account. Some records may need to be retained where legally or operationally required.

See the Data Deletion Instructions linked near the top of this page for the current request steps.

18Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the systems being operated to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss and misuse. Measures may include access controls, encryption in transit where supported, monitoring for abuse and organizational practices suited to the service.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. This policy does not assert a particular third-party certification or audit result.

19International processing

Depending on the location of our customers, users, connected platforms, and service providers, information may be processed in countries or territories other than the location where it was originally collected.

Where required, Quasar Technology takes appropriate measures for the handling and transfer of personal information in accordance with applicable requirements.

20Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on applicable law and your relationship with Quasar or a customer using it, you may be able to ask about, access, correct, export or delete information, or object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us using the details below so we can identify the relevant account and route the request appropriately.

If your data appears in a business's customer conversation, that business may be the appropriate first contact because it controls the relationship and the message history.

21Children's privacy

Our business services are not designed for children. We do not intentionally invite children to create business accounts. If you believe a child's information has been provided through a connected conversation, contact us or the business involved so the situation can be reviewed.

22Third-party links and services

Links from Quasar to third-party websites or services are governed by those third parties' own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their separate notices or controls.

23Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when services, integrations or legal requirements change. The last-updated date above will change when the published text changes materially. Where a direct notice is required, the applicable service or customer agreement will guide it.
