What a deletion request covers
A deletion request asks us to remove information linked to an account, conversation or integration that Quasar processes, where we can identify it and where deletion is appropriate. Disconnecting an integration and deleting existing records are different actions; please tell us which you need.
How to submit a request
You do not need to sign in to Quasar to read these instructions or to submit a request. Email the privacy address shown below with the subject 'Data deletion request', or call the listed phone number and say that you want to request data deletion.
If you are an end customer who contacted a business through WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram, also contact that business directly. It may control the conversation records and can identify your request.
What to include
Give the account or business name, the connected channel (for example WhatsApp, Facebook/Messenger or Instagram), the identifier you used with that channel where safe to provide, and whether you seek account closure, conversation deletion or integration disconnection. Explain how we can contact you about the request.
Do not send passwords, access tokens or more message content than is needed to locate the record.
What happens next
We will process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period, subject to applicable legal requirements and the nature and complexity of the request. Before processing a request, we may request information reasonably necessary to verify the identity or authority of the person making the request. Where a business controls the data, we may need to coordinate with that business before acting.
Following verification, we will take appropriate steps to delete or otherwise address personal information covered by the valid request, subject to information that may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal obligations, or other legitimate purposes permitted by applicable requirements. We will respond through the contact channel you provided.
Information that may be deleted
Depending on the account and request, this can include account or profile details, connected channel tokens or identifiers, customer or conversation records, attachments, notes and settings held within Quasar. We will explain if a requested category cannot be located or deleted.
Information that may remain
Some information may need to remain where required by applicable law, a valid dispute, security investigation, operational backup cycle or another legitimate obligation. Connected platforms and the business you contacted may hold separate copies; a request to Quasar does not automatically delete those copies.
Disconnecting Meta and other integrations
Where applicable, business customers can disconnect connected Meta services from their Quasar account and/or revoke Quasar's access in the relevant Meta business or page settings. You can also ask us to help disconnect the integration. Revoking access stops future access through that authorization but does not itself erase messages already retained by a business or platform.
For Facebook, Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp records, identify the business and channel in your request so the correct connection can be found.
Contact for assistance
Use the phone number or privacy email below. Tell us if the request concerns a Meta-connected account and whether you are an administrator, an account holder or a person who communicated with a business using Quasar.
We will not ask you to disclose your password or an access token to make a request.
